DECEPTIONIST returned to Giuseppe Orlando’s Outersound Studios to record ten tracks for their first album, Initializing Irreversible Process. The band had Stefano Franceschini on bass for the whole album and Enrico H. Di Lorenzo as a guest vocalist on “Through The Veil”. Both are from Hideous Divinity. To DECEPTIONIST, death metal is the ultimate metal genre - wild, emotional, and a bit primitive yet highly calculated and experimental. The band combines technical skills and high - speed playing with core elements like groove, brutality, and catchiness. Their use of sampling fits perfectly with harsh guitar riffs, and the lyrics explore the future relationship between humans and machines, where people serve artificial masters.
