From the desolate and hope - deprived shores of the UK emerges HERETIC PLAGUE, a fresh death metal/grind project. Guitarist/bassist Adam Watts, an original member of the cult UK grind band Beef Conspiracy, concocted this project, blending diverse influences into a wild and extreme sonic cocktail. Joining him is his former band mate Tom Bradfield, who takes on vocals and beats. Bradfield is also part of Repulsive Dissection, Twitch of the Death Nerve, Infected Disarray and runs Grindethic Records. 'Context Is A Stumbling Corpse' by HERETIC PLAGUE offers a disgusting blend of death - soaked grind with horror aesthetics, similar to Nasum, Cryptopsy, early Brutal Truth, and Pig Destroyer. Recorded at Grindethic HQ, mixed and mastered by Tom Bradfield, and with artwork and layout by Bradfield and Midjourney. As Decibel Magazine says, it 'rips through you like a blade through flesh', with obvious horror and grind influences in its straightforward death sound. Invisible Oranges notes that the UK band creates an air of creeping madness on this debut album, dealing with surreal topics, and every track is a fun exploration of weirdness. Distorted Sound Magazine claims it's 'utterly vile' from start to finish, a gross but captivating addition to the deathgrind genre.
