This is a gatefold 12" LP. It's pressed on clear heavy vinyl with black and blood - red splatters. The package comes with a 4 - page 12"x12" booklet, an A2 poster, and a download card. Note that the colors on the final record might vary a bit from the mockup. Thirty - two years after their formation, the Finnish iconoclasts ARCHGOAT remain a dominant force in extreme music. Led by twin brothers Ritual Butcherer and Lord Angelslayer, their new release 'Worship the Eternal Darkness' is a delightfully depraved album that mocks our modern troubles. Building on from the previous album 'The Luciferian Crown', this time the intensity is slightly toned down. Their unique blend of occult Finnish Black/Death Metal, harsh Punk, primal Thrash, and Grindcore is now infused with melodic elements. The rhythm is less relentless, the vocals are a bit clearer, and the production, free from murk, showcases powerful synth work and NWOBHM influences, especially those classic guitar solos. Recorded in just 2 days in 2021 and featuring the iconic Chris Moyen artwork, 'Worship the Eternal Darkness' has all the hallmarks of a legendary band, with its thematic unity, arcane knowledge, otherworldly charm, and raw filth, keeping the underground fires burning brighter than ever.
To use this Archgoat vinyl record, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently remove the record from its sleeve and place it on the turntable. Set the tonearm at the beginning of the record and let the music play. When you're done, carefully lift the tonearm and return it to its rest position. Then, put the record back in its sleeve. For maintenance, always handle the record by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface. Use a record cleaning brush to remove dust regularly. Store the record in a cool, dry place, standing upright in a record rack to prevent warping.
