Product Description

For fans of Chelsea Grin, Misery Signals, Whitechapel, and Becoming A Martyr! This CD is a limited edition with only 300 copies available. Disfigured Elegance, a Canadian metalcore/deathcore band, formed in Montreal in mid - 2009 when its members were just 15 to 17 years old. The lineup included Mathieu Paquette on vocals, guitarists Patrice Plouffe and Pierre - Luc Gagnon, Sebastien Hamelin on bass, and drummer Cedrik Drouin. They aimed to create a unique and powerful metal sound, breaking away from the common 'riff - breakdown - riff - breakdown' pattern. In 2009, they quickly recorded their 11 - song, 42 - minute debut album, The Last Disease, at Red Dusk Studio with Mat Laperle. This album offers a high - quality metalcore sound that combines elements of melodic Swedish death metal and groove - laden deathcore. It's a hit among fans of As Blood Runs Black, Misery Signals, Chelsea Grin, and Whitechapel. Sadly, in 2011, vocalist Mathieu Paquette's tragic passing ended the band's promising start. Until now, fans could only enjoy the album digitally. But Divebomb Records, whose parent label Tribunal was a leader in the late - '90s/early - '00s metalcore movement, is rectifying this. In 2019, Mat Laperle remastered the album and added an instrumental demo '270991' (named after Paquette's birthdate) as a bonus track. The release also comes with a 12 - page booklet, making it a fitting tribute to Disfigured Elegance's short but remarkable career.

Using this CD is simple. Just pop it into your CD player, whether it's in your car, home stereo, or portable player. You can enjoy the high - quality metalcore sounds of Disfigured Elegance's The Last Disease album. As for storage, keep the CD in a cool, dry place to prevent scratches and warping. Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or in extremely hot or cold environments. When handling the CD, hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface. If the CD gets dirty, you can use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe it from the center outwards. This will help keep the CD in good condition and ensure you can enjoy the music for a long time.
