First named Rampage, they released their first five - song demo, Vol. 1, less than a year after finalizing the lineup and changing their name to HOSTILE RAGE. In the next year, these recordings were re - released with four new songs as the very rare Vol. 1 + 2. The classic 'Dead Meat' was included in New Renaissance Records’ Thrash Metal Attack II compilation. In 1989, another five - song demo, On the Rampage, came out, followed by Adrenalin Flow in 1990. But as 1991 neared, the music scene changed, and though the band's writing got better, their progress slowed. There was a four - year gap before they presented two final demos in the mid - 90s. They never officially broke up. In late 2009, the original four members from 1987 got back together. They had live shows opening for Whiplash and Joey Belladonna from Anthrax. In the next decade, they re - recorded some old songs and added new ones at JRod Productions in New York. Even Alan Tecchio (Hades, Watchtower, etc.) contributed vocals to a reworked 'Dead Meat'. They opened for many big names and caught the interest of major labels. Their plan to release a full - length album always failed... until now! More than thirty years after the band formed, Divebomb Records is excited to present On the Rampage, a double - CD set that shows HOSTILE RAGE's amazing work.
