This is a limited green - marble vinyl release. 'Misotheism' is an extremely brutal and pitch - black death metal album that serves as the soundtrack for a collapsing universe. The album was crafted in three different spots. Drums were recorded at Bloom Recording Studio in Italy, where the band fully utilized the large recording rooms and wide selection of microphones. Guitars, bass, and vocals were done at Kick Recording Studio in Italy with Marco Mastrobuono, who also worked on 'Regicide' (2014) and 'Cast the First Stone' (2017). Finally, HOUR OF PENANCE traveled to Poland to mix and master the album at Hertz Studios, known for working with bands like Behemoth, Vader, and Decapitated. As the band said, working with the Wiesławscy brothers was the perfect finishing touch, helping them achieve an ideal sound without any compromises.
