Enslaved proudly presents a fully remastered re-issue of their iconic 1992 early demo, 'Yggdrasill', on a very limited, hand-numbered 12-inch vinyl with a striking black and white A-side/B-side effect! 'Yggdrasill' is a raw, untamed, and furious yet sophisticated masterpiece, an essential cornerstone of the Norwegian Black Metal scene. Even though the band members were in their teens when recording it, 'Yggdrasill' showcases Enslaved's remarkable ability to craft complex, powerful, and evocative compositions. They were among the first to draw inspiration from Norse mythology and Viking imagery to express their Nordic heritage. Remastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios, this new re-issue from By Norse Music (Ivar Bjørnson’s own imprint) comes in a limited A-side/B-side effect 12-inch vinyl edition of just 300 hand-numbered copies. It includes an insert with liner notes from Grutle Kjellson and Ivar Bjørnson, offering a historical view of the music, archive photos from the era, and full lyrics.
