Domination Campaign, initiated in late 2019 in Hobart, Tasmania, by Psycroptic vocalist Jason Peppiatt as a solo studio venture. In December 2019, Jason started working at Crawlspace studios with Joe Haley, a fellow Psycroptic band member and studio engineer. Once the recording kicked off, Joe was brought on to play drums for the album. Their goal was to craft an over - the - top, heavy, straightforward, and crushing old - school death metal album. It features no fancy or technical elements, just big, simple heavy riffs and massive mid - paced drum beats. The lyrics are loosely inspired by historical war events. Their debut album, 'Onward to Glory', was wrapped up in July 2020. Joe Haley handled all recording, mixing, and mastering, while Jason Peppiatt designed the album art.
