EPHEMERIS is the third full - length album from Icelandic Death Metal giants, Beneath. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Fredrik Nordström at the well - known Studio Fredman in fall 2016. After the departure of founding drummer Ragnar Sverrison, Beneath joined forces with Mike Heller (Malignancy, Control/Resist, Fear Factory) for the album's drumming. The outcome is nine tracks of unyielding brutality. It takes you on a journey through the future millennia of human - induced technological colonization of planets and galaxies, a world where technology surpasses all imagination.
