Glasgow's psych - rock titans, Helicon, have spent nearly a decade wowing audiences across the UK with their unique and otherworldly noise. Their cosmic, motorik sound crashes head - on with Sitar - driven jams and nihilistic fuzz, creating an amazing auditory experience. After gaining a reputation for their electrifying live shows and releasing a few EPs, in 2017, they finally dropped their self - titled debut album on Fuzz Club, firmly establishing their status in the UK psych scene. Just over a year later, on January 11th, 2019, Helicon released the 'Zero Fucks' three - track EP. Recorded, mixed, and produced live in a single day at Glasgow’s Green Door Studio, this EP features three instrumental tracks that get back to the basics, highlighting the band's excellent song - writing. Vocalist and guitarist John - Paul Hughes said they wrote these tracks while prepping for a tour before Fuzz Club Eindhoven 2018. They aimed for high - energy material for their live sets, and since these tracks were well - received in Eindhoven, they quickly hit the studio to record them.
