Limited to just 1000 numbered copies! This digipak CD comes in a deluxe slipcase with an alternative cover and a large, shiny sticker. It's a brand - new studio album! Drummer and mastermind Rikard Wermén, who has led the band for nearly thirty years, says, 'It's real death metal, no tricks, no costumes, just intense and violent metal.' DERANGED, formed in Sweden in 1991, are well - known in the death metal scene. Their name comes from a horror movie, and horror is their main creative and lyrical inspiration. Different from other Swedish bands starting in the 90s, DERANGED leans towards American death metal, with a fast, technical sound and elements of deathgrind and groove. 'Deeds Of Ruthless Violence' is DERANGED's tenth studio album, following 'Struck by a Murderous Siege' in 2016. It features new vocalist Johan Bergström of Visceral Bleeding. Recorded at Berno Studio in Malmö (home to Amon Amarth, The Crown, Witchery), the album's artwork, by Mike Hrubovcak (Grave, Six Feet Under, Sinister), keeps the same style as its predecessor. Tracklist: 1. Necro - bulimia interfering afterlife; 2. Engulfed by hate I stab to kill; 3. Level of lividity; 4. Carnal provision for the rotten masses; 5. Through stages of putrefaction; 6. Carried in pain, released by torture; 7. Quarantine required for living entities; 8. I send you half the kidney I took.
