Lyrically, the album explores broken relationships, loss, and the emotional balance between resentment and forgiveness. It pays homage to Bjørn's musical heroes, from the gritty riffs of Toni Iommi and Zakk Wylde to the emotional playing of David Gilmour and Steven Rothery. The melodious and solemn voices of Steven Wilson and Tim Bowness, along with the cinematic soundscapes of composers like Thomas Newman and John Barry, add to its charm. The album also features guest appearances from Airbag’s Henrik Fossum on drums, Asle Tostrup for programming, Simen Valldal Johannessen from Oak on piano, and Norwegian singer Sichelle Mcmeo Aksum on vocals. The front - cover image is provided by Norwegian photographer Kjetil Karlsen, taken in the scenic Beisfjord near Narvik in Northern Norway, and the design and layout are by Asle Tostrup.
