Victim of Your Father’s Agony is the fifth album from Trondheim's top - notch prog band, Arabs in Aspic. First released by the Italian label Black Widow Records in 2015, it might be their most daring album yet, thanks to a greater number of songwriters compared to other records. This new version kicks off with a short instrumental inspired by the band's first French concert. They played at sunset, just 300 meters from the stunning Atlantic beaches, with 2000 excited prog fans. 'One' is an old song that didn't fit well on the previous couple of albums but has been a regular in their live shows since 2009. 'Italian Class' began as an instrumental named 'The Turk and the Italian Restaurant'. Lacking proper Italian vocabulary, they pieced together parts from well - known Italian nursery rhymes. The song was performed live at a festival, sparking a range of reactions. 'Sad Without You' is about the sudden awareness of losing loved ones. 'The Flight of the Halibut' features an amazing 16 lead guitars playing in unison. This re - release uses all the original recordings but is completely re - edited and remixed. A few overdubs have been added, and the song sequence has been changed for a fresh listening experience. It's the fifth of six reworked and remastered Arabs in Aspic re - releases on Karisma Records, expertly mastered by Jacob Holm - Lupo in Dude Ranch Studios.
