After eight studio releases from NIGHTINGALE, it's time for an authentic live album! Dan Swäno said, 'When we were invited to perform at the renowned Rock Hard Festival in May 2016, we thought it was the perfect moment and place to capture the energy of a NIGHTINGALE live show.' After listening to the gig recordings, we found a special atmosphere on stage and among the audience. To preserve this, we mixed the album with a high proportion of sound from two audience microphones. This gives listeners the feeling of being at the gig. However, there may be some off - time and off - key notes as we can't fix them in the studio. So, 'Rock Hard Live' is a real sonic snapshot of NIGHTINGALE's on - stage performance, flaws and all.
