The debut album from the contemporary Black Metal band BLOOD ABSCISSION, released in August 2023, was a real surprise. With only an evocative cover image, track - titles in Roman numerals, and the powerful music itself, it quickly became a hit. It's an amazing piece of emotive and transcendent modernist Black Metal.
