Airbag's co - founder, songwriter and lead guitarist Bjørn Riis offers a limited reprint of his second solo album, 'Forever Comes to an End', on white vinyl. This album features seven songs, drawing inspiration from classic rock, prog, and movie scores. Bjørn's distinctive guitar work takes center stage, with soaring leads, heavy riffs, and beautiful textures. Lyrically, it delves into broken relationships, loss, and the emotional tug - of - war between resentment and forgiveness. It's a homage to all of Bjørn's musical heroes, from the gritty riffs of Toni Iommi and Zakk Wylde to the emotional playing of David Gilmour and Steven Rothery. The album also features melodious and somber vocals from Steven Wilson and Tim Bowness, along with cinematic elements reminiscent of composers like Thomas Newman and John Barry. Guests on the album include Airbag’s Henrik Fossum on drums and Asle Tostrup on programming, Simen Valldal Johannessen from Oak on piano, and Norwegian singer Sichelle Mcmeo Aksum on vocals.
