Product Description
This 12-inch, 180-gram vinyl album comes in a matte-finished single sleeve cover with a printed inner sleeve. 'Forever Comes to an End' features seven songs inspired by classic rock, prog, and movie scores. Bjørn's distinctive guitar playing takes center stage, with soaring leads, heavy riffs, and beautiful textures. Lyrically, the album explores broken relationships, loss, and the emotional balance between resentment and forgiveness. It's a tribute to Bjørn's musical influences, from the dark riffs of Toni Iommi and Zakk Wylde to the emotional playing of David Gilmour and Steven Rothery, the melodic voices of Steven Wilson and Tim Bowness, and the cinematic landscapes of composers like Thomas Newman and John Barry. The album features appearances from Airbag’s Henrik Fossum on drums, Asle Tostrup for programming, Simen Valldal Johannessen from Oak on piano, and Norwegian singer Sichelle Mcmeo Aksum on vocals. The front cover image is by Norwegian photographer Kjetil Karlsen, taken in the beautiful Beisfjord near Narvik in Northern Norway, and the design and layout are by Asle Tostrup.
