Product Description

Victim of Your Father’s Agony is the fifth album by Trondheim's top - notch prog band, Arabs in Aspic. First released by the Italian label Black Widow Records in 2015, it stands out as their most diverse work yet, thanks to a larger number of songwriters compared to other records. This new album version kicks off with a short instrumental inspired by the band's first French concert. They played at sunset, just 300 meters from the stunning Atlantic beaches, with 2000 enthusiastic prog fans. 'One' is an old song that didn't fit well in previous albums but has been a live - show favorite since 2009. 'Italian Class' began as an instrumental named 'The Turk and the Italian Restaurant'. With limited Italian vocabulary, the band combined parts of well - known Italian nursery rhymes. The song got a mixed reaction at a festival; some thought it was great, while others were offended. 'Sad Without You' is about the sudden realization of losing loved ones. 'The Flight of the Halibut' features an amazing 16 lead guitars playing together. This re - release uses all original recordings, re - edited and remixed from the ground up. There are also a few overdubs, and the band has changed the song order for a fresh listening experience. It's the fifth of six reworked and remastered Arabs in Aspic re - releases on Karisma Records, expertly mastered by Jacob Holm - Lupo in Dude Ranch Studios. This is an officially licensed Arabs in Aspic LP. It comes on 180 - gram transparent yellow vinyl with blue marbling and a gatefold cover.

To enjoy this album, simply place the 180 - gram vinyl on your record player. Make sure your player is clean and in good working condition for the best sound quality. When handling the vinyl, hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface. After each use, return the vinyl to its gatefold cover to protect it from dust and scratches. Store the album in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. This album is a unique piece of officially licensed Arabs in Aspic merchandise, so take good care of it to keep it in great shape for years of listening pleasure.
